There are many ways that you can volunteer your time to help our department!
Facebook:
The easiest way you can help is by liking, commenting on, and sharing our Facebook posts & generally promoting our raffles! Raffles are currently an important fundraiser and monies made from these efforts help us to pay general bills, purchase new equipment (this article gives more insight into equipment prices), and generally to make sure we're prepared for any emergency.
Donations:
Donations also go a long way. Donations help to pay for equipment and bills in the same way that fundraising does. Whether they be monetary or simply a case of water, donations make a world of difference.
Support Fundraisers:
That's why you're here! Our department hosts multiple fundraisers each year including weekly BINGO (doors open at 5:00 p.m. each Friday in the social hall), the annual Taste of Fall Fest held each September, our gambling trailer at the Allegany County Fair in July, two Cash Bashes, and more!
